Marriage Counselling West Malling
My name is Cheryl Sieloff and I’m a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and relationship therapist based at Relationship and Marriage Counselling West Malling. I have over 15 years’ experience providing counselling for both couples and individuals.
I’m a registered member of the BACP and an accredited member on the NCS (National Counselling Society). Alongside having an MSc in Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy.
Being an integrative counsellor means I draw upon a range of different therapies to suit your specific needs and tailor the sessions to your unique situation.
I believe relationships are like gardens; if you don’t tend to them regularly, they will become full of weeds, overgrown and difficult to manage. Relationships need attention, nurturing and care. However, we often don’t realise that they have become tangled and unhealthy, like an unkempt garden, until problems occur.
These problems might include miscommunication, dishonesty or arguments. Or perhaps you feel lonely, unsupported, unloved or betrayed. You may feel that the relationship has become unbalanced or stale and you are two strangers living in the same house.
How I can help
When people come to Marriage Counselling West Malling. I understand that it might feel quite daunting coming along for the first time. You may well have reservations about whether it will help or not. However, rest assured, we will take it one step at a time. No matter what the difficulties are within your relationship, I am not there to judge you. Instead, I’m there to encourage you both to find your voice and help you listen and understand each other again.
Counselling is a confidential service that provides the space and opportunity to work through the difficulties you are facing and find a way forward. I work in an empathic and client centred way. Which means, you are always at the centre of therapy and my approach will be tailored around you and your difficulties.
There isn’t a limit to how many sessions you can have, although I do understand that your time and money are precious. Therefore, I will endeavour to help you move forward and get you to where you want to be as quickly as possible.
I abide by the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the NCS (National Counselling Society), therefore I work within their ethical framework. Therefore, I undertake regular, continuing professional development, clinical supervision and I’m fully insured.
