Couples Counselling Dartford
My name is Gaylia Mitchell and I’m a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, accredited by the National Counselling Society (NCS) based at both couples counselling Darford and Rochester. I’m experienced in both individual and couple counselling along with family therapy.
I an Integrative Counsellor, which means I use a combined approach to counselling, bringing together different elements of specific therapies. I take the view that there is no single approach that can be used to treat all couples in all situations, therefore I tailor my approach to suit each individual couples needs.
When our relationships go off track, it can lead to both parties feeling hurt and resentful, resulting in one or both feeling less inclined to want to communicate with the other. As an experienced couple counsellor I will help you ‘really’ listen to your partners perspective and support you both in learning how to start communicating effectively again.
I consider myself to be warm, empathetic and non-judgemental and offer a safe, confidential environment where we can work through your relationship challenges together and support you in finding a way forward that is agreeable to you both.
I provide couples counselling Dartford, marriage counselling Dartford and relationship counselling Dartford.

Marriage Counselling Rochester
My name is Debra Osborne and I’m a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, accredited by the National Counselling Society, based at Marriage Counselling Rochester.
I offer a warm, friendly, professional approach to marriage counselling or couple therapy and during your sessions I will always ensure you both feel listened to with empathy, sensitivity and without judgement.
Through my experience at marriage counselling Rochester I understand it’s natural for relationships to have ‘ups and downs’ it’s part of life. However, it’s when problems set in over a period of time, relationships can become ‘stuck’ and resentment begins to build up. We then struggle to see each others perspectives and struggle to be able to talk things through effectively.
I will help you both be honest and encourage you express how you feel and what the problems are in your relationship – from your individual perspective. I will help you ‘really’ listen to each other to help you achieve the outcome you set out at the beginning of the counselling. As a relationship counsellor I’m not here to take sides or pass judgement, it’s not about who is right or wrong, its about helping you both explore what is important to you in a relationship as individuals as well as part of a couple.
Relationship counselling encourages you to work together to learn how to listen and communicate effectively. It’s not about telling you what to do or taking your control or choice away. Couple therapy can help make changes that bring you closer and create a deeper connection for the long term.
